So I bought these because my edges were falling out postpartum and I wanted to add a little volume and thickness. After consulting via chat with a very grammatically correct representative (this matters to me), she suggested I send a picture. YES, you can send them a picture of your natural hair and they will make product recommendations. It was AWESOME. I ordered 160g of the MyCurls clip ins and then I took them to my stylist who cuts my hair to dye them to match my hair and install them the first time. She made it seem really easy, but I was a little afraid to take them out and kept them in for a week. THEN, I took them out, washed them and my hair and re-installed. I have to say, I am THE MOST LOW MAINTENANCE PERSON ON THE PLANET --basically, if it takes more than 5 minutes, I'm not doing it--- and this fits me to a T. The clip ins take about 5-7 minutes to install on my wash n go (4 if I braid the back, but that adds time, so Nah). The hair blends perfectly with mine although my hair is fine, I have a lot of it, so I have to use a heavier cream. The hair doesn't need a ton of cream and if you use none at all, it will work very well on frizzier hair/humidity. I didn't want there to be a big differential between how the clip in looked and how my hair looked and there wasn't. Overall, I have to say, I was EXTREMELY pleased with the hair. I have had it out for about a week wearing a protective style and I just hang it up in my closet.
I had high expectations based on the unboxings that I've seen that the hair would come with its own hanger, sadly that is only the case for the special people, but it does come well packed in a purple satin bag, which I'm sure is better for storing the hair long-term anyway. I just prefer to hang it up to keep it from bending and wrinkling (which it will get crimps if you style it); I wore a bun and had to add water to get the bends out just like I would have had to on my natural hair). I only wish they sold ponytails!
