Refunds, Exchanges and Returns

We want you to look fly and be our satisfied customer for life. However, nothing is perfect in life. If you are not happy with your purchase, please read below and we will do our best to put the smile back on your face. :)

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. However, we want you to be happy. We will gladly offer an exchange or store credit within 7 business days of your tracking number delivery date. The product must be returned in the same condition you received them in. Due to the nature of wigs, there are absolutely no exchanges or refunds on this product. 

What does "returned in the same condition" mean?

This means the hair extensions have NOT been washed, conditioned, installed, colored,  or bleached. The ties have NOT been cut and the hang tag is attached. We cannot do exchanges on hair that has been altered in any form. There are absolutely no exchanges or refunds on wigs. No exceptions.

Do I have to pay for shipping for my returns or exchanges?

You are responsible for the shipping cost of your returns or changes. Please email info{at}kinkycurlyyaki{dot}com before returning hair. We recommend using a level of shipping that includes tracking when sending back your return. KinkyCurlyYaki is not responsible for lost returns or exchanges. There will be a 10% restocking fee on returns. 

Should I contact you before returning my hair extensions?

Please contact us before sending your return or exchange. Returns with no prior contact will be denied because they must be noted in our systems to be accepted at our warehouse. There will be a 10% restocking fee on returns. 

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at info{at}kinkycurlyyaki{dot}com. Please include your full name, order number, and a description of the problem.

Is there a restocking fee?

There will be a 10% restocking fee on all returns. All returns must be unopened and unaltered.

Wrong Address, Return to Senders, Not picked up from Post Office, Duty not paid?

Please be advised that there is a 10% restocking fee on all returns that come back to us due to incorrect addresses, return to senders due to not picking shipment up from post office, not paying fees associated with duty/customs of your country. 

We do not refund any shipping costs.
